Thumbs up Upper South Branch of the Raritan river; A pictorial:

My 2nd attempt of bringing you a section of a river in photo form. Hopefully I will get out this week and photograph the lower half of the South Branch of the Raritan river. Again photos read left to right top to bottom. I started out as close to the top as I could without actually going to Budd Lake, the true beginnings of the South Branch. I began around the Flanders-Bartley area.

Down to Hoffmans Crossing Bridge, the official, unofficial start to the Ken Lockwood Gorge. I didn't go into KLG nor the Lake Solitude trout waters, but picked it up again at Lake Solitude itself.

Whoever pulled the plug out of the South Branch, please put it back. I didn't realize we were so rain deprived this summer. Nice pics. Shoulder surgery will keep me from fishing for awhile so the pictures will keep me going, dreaming and reminiscing until I'm cleared to get back out there.

Thanks Andy!! I have been to almost every spot that you had pictures of. I didn't think the water dropped that much. Did you see people fishing? I cant wait to go back up there.
