You gotta get some of these rods in your hands to get a feel for em. Some people like a softer tip or a stiffer rod like myself. Going to depend on how much weight you are going to be fishing. I have different rods for different weights.

I have avet SX reels on all my 12-20 and 15-30 rods, all work great. IMO.
