If you don't want to break the bank, I highly recommend you take a look at the new Daiwa BG reels. For around 100 bucks you get some very good qualities found in the higher end reels. I'd say get the BG4000 is all you need filled with good 30 or 40lb braid with a short top shot. Bring different size floro leader as sometimes they are line shy.

Hey Mr. Ac, what do you think about the Quantum Boca in 40 size.....

I have Diawas and never had a problem.... Never owned a Quantum.

The Quantum Cabo and Boca 40's are great reels too. They were my goto for a long time. Now I use Stradic Ci4's but they are pricey. If you're considering the quantum you won't regret those either. The daiwa BG's are gonna put a hurting on the Penn Battles which are in the same price category.
