No, as the lower Raritan is cooler,........some trout will be swimming downstream into their open maws.

So these trout will be swimming over the Headgates in Duke Island Park down to the tidal section of the Rariran river ? Looks like the fish ladder in South Bound Brook is closed, guess these trout will have to swim over that waterfall also

I just did a quick clean-up in South Bound Brook at the falls and ran into fellow NJF'er FishinFire, looks like we both grew up around the same area.
Mostly plastic bottles and some beer bottles, area looked pretty good for the most part but I did spot another tire in the water, we'll get it, trust me.
I pulled 7 bags of trash someone dumped by the pull off near the foot bridge going over the canal, that and 2 car seats. Nice to know people with small children enjoy dumping trash on the side of the road.

To my knowledge, few fish use fish ladders to migrate downstream. They go over the dams.

Of course, some high water would help.
