14oz - 20oz.. Any where in there.. Sometimes get away with less then that..

It may seems obvious but if you don't want to search around or purchase a 20 to 24 oz sinker just but two 10 or 12 oz sinkers together.

Heard some funny stories of people showing up with concrete blocks, engine block parts and large chains as sinkers. Makes for some great stories.

Sam the Sinker man can send you an assortment in a $5.35 priority box in flats or banks. He's got the best lead.

What do most people prefer in your opinion for offshore Sea Bass? Flats or Banks ?

Before I started pouring my own lead I used to cut pieces of iron pipe and fill with cement. They used to call them depth charges.

Like everyone else here said, no less than 14oz and up to 20oz. Sam is the man to call for sinkers.
