Default Boat rental

Anyone know where you can rent a decent boat for the day in our area. Interested in a 20 + foot CC so you can explore the ocean wrecks if conditions allow. Location would be anywhere from around Sandy Hook area to Seaside Park. Want to take the kids out for the day. Thanks a lot for any feedback

schupps has rental boats but due to insurance reasons they are not allowed in the ocean. you may be able to rent from a private owner - there are a couple of websites that cater to this type of thing. don't know them offhand but a google search may be able to help you. good luck

Lightbulb Re: Boat rental

Schupp's has a rental agreement that states that boats must not go beyond a line that extends from the tip of the Navy pier to the tip of Sandy Hook. We observed that line when we rented one of their 16' "skiffs" w/ a 15-hp motor. Seems like you should be allowed to go farther than that line if you rent the 20' CC. Check w/ Schupp's, and please report their policy on this website.
