First fluke trip of the year
Finally got out today and got paid to do it!! fluking was slow for the recreational keepers as we only got two, one 21 and one 24. But on the brighter side we did mange to get 15 fish that would have easily made it to restaurant's table,
 , as we watched four draggers work inshore of us. Also we did manage to catch about ten or twelve keeper seabass but since that fishery is in such bad shape we only kept 4, 2 each. Oh by the way we did catch about 20 short seabass on the drift as well. I am thankful that am I'm still permitted to venture out on the government owned ocean and try to put some sea-fare on the table for my family to enjoy. Tight lines FH

Hopefully the sea bass stocks will rebound soon
 and the government fish wardens  will allow us minions to keep a few more during the summer.It should be called The Fishery Mis-Management!
