Default did anyone in the cranford area lose a boat this past week

found a boat in the rahway behind my house. downriver of the railroad bridge is all im willing to say at this point. its in a weird area not accessible by land so if its yours, or anyone you know, send me a pm and ill tell you how to get it. its pretty high and dry right now tight to a tree, but if we get anymore bad storms, or local kids find it id imagine it wont be there much longer.

Is it a motor craft? If so, there should be a registration #. If not, there might be a serial # on it. Someone's daddy is going to be pissed! Call the police and say they can have it for the next time Cranford floods out!

no markings of any kind that I could easily see. I didn't get out to check but there were no stickers like youre "supposed" to have in union county waters. I had my wife post it to the cranford pd facebook page. so far no takers.

looks like a basstender water quest (not a bad boat), no motor so it wasn't registered but there should still be a vin# stamped on the hull (usually the transom). if you don't hear anything keep it and throw an electric motor on it, (you'll need a vin# and notarized letter stating approximate value and that you found it for DMV), mine get's me places not available to bigger boats and inaccessible by foot.
