Sunday Report (Mixed bag)

We went out Sunday for about 5 hours. The weather sucked (cold, humid, rainy) so we figured the bite would be slow… and it was. We did a combination of shore and Kayak. No color or bait in particular was better than the other. Red, white, silver, purple, perch plastics all seemed to work Ok. Keitechs, gulp minnows, gulp crawlers.. etc. I think the two colors that worked the best were a translucent pumpkin and a dark red. I can report the weeds are now fully grown and time to bust out the heavier weedless jigs.

Between 3 of us, probably around 12 bass, 4 pickerel and a couple of redbreast. The biggest Larries below. Overall, we had a good time out and about....
