I've been to Long Eddy just upstream of there I think. Try fishing in the early morning and evening into night time. Most of the trout, walleye and bass in that area are heavily pressured and are most active at those times of the day. long profile stick baits and jerkbaits are a good bet, especially at night. Fish areas that are adjacent to deep holes in the river if you can find some.

You could spend 6 hours just fishing the Kellams bridge area, big runs and deep holes. You have Lourdrville, Hankins, and Callicoon near there and all great spots on the river. Let Google Earth be your guide.
