Nj ice report update

Been out on the hardwater past few weeks putting in some time with the crazy weather we been having this year.Started the season off right where we end up first ice evrey year......the normal plenty of pinner pike in the 22-28 inch range with an occasional 32"......my best out there and first fish this year a 34-35". From there we did some bouncing around to some bigger lakes but usually ended right back where we started with sketchky ice conditions.So far i got quite a few pike at 35 inch range but nothing over yet few pickerl a jumbo perch or two,even got out for some walleyes today but no luck pretty sweet for some early ice in the little coulple week window lets hope for some colder temps and cross our fingers we dont loose too much between the next cold snap few pics for ya guys L

Always one of the first guy to be drilling holes through ice in NJ. Always making it pay off too!!! Nice pikes dude!

cool looking pike, glad to hear you got a jumbo perch as well. hey that shot with your sled and auger,the ice in the background looks sketchy how thick was it?

That was delaware river spot yesterday we tried for eyes some spots were 8 inches some spots were 2 1/2 within a couple feet from each other, we had a pretty deadly fault line too so we bailed early as we watched the ice dissapear....
