Default 10-10 pequannock brownies and smallies

Late entry. Went and dunked some small brown (4) and a smallie with a friend, from the fire house down to Lina's. everything hit on spinners. No love on the jig. hooked a sucker too. Fish seem invigorated with the cold, had a little 8in jump like times. Water was cold, but low. Didn't know the river had so many suckers, saw schools of em
Stopped by a local bass haunt early, but only the perch were biting. Got my buddy his first wild brown(and second)

Yea, earlier this year I hit one about 12in, and pulled a 14 from the wanaque. Had a 22-24 last November too. They are there, and fiesty.
Prob had 5 or 6 knockdowns we missed. One I saw was a better size, but baby fish come from big fish.

Some surprisingly decent trout water in NJ. Quite a few streams good for wild browns but Pequannock is the best option unless you wanna go way out west
