![]() Pretty poor fluke fishing to say the least, a handful of fish each day isn't going to make it regardless of what you might read. Today we had a small group, we did some Fluke fishing for a while then went Porgy fishing after the change of tide.
Everyone went home with dinner and the Action turned a bad day into a good one. 3 very nice Conservation Officers met us at the dock when we got in to check our catch, they were surprised at all the porgies we had.....all legal. Funny how they just showed up when all the reports have been pretty much crap. We will "NOT BE" sailing Monday or Tuesday Morning. We will start Bottom Fishing Daily on Wednesday mainly for Porgy then change over to Striped Bass fishing when the time comes. Capt. Dan will be Striped Bass fishing: Mon-Tues-Wed Nights and Porgy Fishing Thurs-Friday & Sat nights 6:30pm till 11:30 pm. Capt. Ron |

![]() Not saying that at all, I'm saying it's over for me.
People are catching fish in 4-8ft of water in our Harbor, Keyport and the Pier in Port Monmouth, the Shallows of Staten Island, that's just not my cup of tea. |
