Default How's the ocean?

Thinking of heading down to Brielle this afternoon for 1/2 day fluke. Looks ok on tv reports. Might be last shot for a week.

Hate to be a pessimist but if we get this predicted blow it may be the end of the fluke season ..period.

I dont think this is the end of fluke fishing this year. Think it will take a few days after this storm to recover but will be normal fishing for late sept to finish out the season.

I have to agree with you typically a storm like this at this time of the year puts an end to it.

Turned out beautiful out there. Calm before the storm. Got a couple for sashimi. 1 guy had 4. Pool winner 6 lbs. Guess I'll have to work around the house for a week.
