Default Lady m charters / open boat

(SAT) This A.M we had a charter for Alex and the boy's for a day of Fluking, we started off in Ambrose channel and it was very slow there with one keeper and a few shorts. After trying to wait it out it never happened, it is getting late now had to make a move. We steamed out to the ocean and the first spot was a bust oh boy this day is going well, then we decided to make a move to the West and it paid off. The Fluke started to bite and in a little over a hour we put another 13 keepers in the boat up to 6 lbs plus a few nice Sea Bass.

(SUN) Today we had a charter for Pat and the guy's for another day of Fluking and started right off where we finished the day before with high expectations. The first drift had a two keepers and a few shorts, then we made a few more drifts and it was very slow. The drift slowed down to almost nothing which never helps Fluking, so we power drifted did not help. We made a move to the West and had a few more but overall a tough one. The charter finished with just a handful of keepers and some nice Sea Bass.

(mon) We had a charter for Eric and friends for another Fluke trip and decided to try a totally different area hoping for better results. We steamed 20 miles and the first drift looked like it was going be worth the steam. The action was good with shorts and a few keepers right away, the second drift same results. All of a sudden the fish shut down and it became a dismal pick for the rest of the day. We did try some different areas but it was also another day with very little drift. The guy's finished with just a few keepers for the day and some Sea Bass anyway that is the way the bucktail bounces.
