Cormorant flight speed....
Any idea how fast they can fly?
Just curious after some observation on Saturday. We were moving along at 35knts and the lonely cormorant was off our starboard side keeping pace and then even passing us up.

What I found is 55km/hr which translates to 34.+mph...I think...

35 knots is slightly over 40 miles per hour. A knot is 1.15 miles.
