Default Midnight session

Got out with MikeyTopaz and Jigman13 for a midnight-4am trip into the darkness. The weather cooperated and so did the fish. Threw the usual spring arsenal and we managed a 27.5" Walleye and a 26" Hybrid along with multiple 'brids in the 22"-23" range and 'eyes from 20"-22". The initial hits from some of these Hybrids were downright violent, with huge explosions and tailwalking across the water. The rain and boat traffic stirred up a bunch of weeds and there were still plenty of a-holes ignoring the reduced night time speed limit and/or running with no lights across the lake. All fish safely released!

That's what I'm talking about! Eyes and Stripes for all! The night bite fishing doesn't get much better than that! Bricks and cinder blocks crashing around the boat! Can't wait to get up there! Great fish budddddddies!!!

It was a pretty ridiculous night. Mikeys walleye was so big. The head on it was absurd. She looked spawned out too. Can't imagine how much bigger she wouldve been a few weeks prior. Epic catch bud. Epic.

Rob's hybrid from strike to net had us ooooo-ing and ahhhh-ing. The vicious surface explosion and tail walking had us thinking ski initially but then it dumped line like only a hybrid does. Once it hit the deck we were all like "Holy sh*t!!". The girth/width of it was nuts... as you can see in the measurement picture. Not sure if that's a 2x6 or 2x8 measuring board but it was well over lapped when rob's fish was laying on it!

We also missed a ton of strikes: bait rod, top water/sub surface explosions. It was a good night with big fish aND decent action. Can't wait to get out again.

Good times guys...oh yea, u forgot about my 12" crappie Rob lol. Hahaha
