Default Worming in the Rivers

Has anybody tried drifting worms by the bridges in the Shrewsbury or Navasink yet. I promised I would take my stepson out, but my boat is not big enough or equipped to really head out into the bay very far.

He has never been fishing in his life yet, so I ws hoping to be able to get him out and just catch a schoolie for starters. And if a keeper was to come along, even better.
