![]() Took a mental health day today to do some fishing and clear my mind. Headed out at 9 and got to the spot around 1030 or so. Armed with 3 dozen Shiners and a couple rods, to the Walleye grounds I went. They were there in BIG numbers today but the fish were all on the SMALLER size. 14 WALLEYE boarded my vessel today and they were all scappy little guys. They all put up a decent battle despite the smaller size. No BIG girls today but still managed to net 6 shorts and 8 KEEPERS. The 8 keepers were all between 18-21 inches. The shorts were close to keepers with 4 being 17 1/2-17 7/8. Then there were 2 super shorts, 1@15 inches and the other barely 12inches. The steady action today made me a very, very happy man. Head is clear and everything is now back into perspective. I'll take it! It's not the size that matters sometimes boyz and girls, "ITS THE SIZE OF THE JIG THAT DOES" LOLOLOLOLOL!!! Heres a few pics………………
