Golden Eagle - AWESOME OFFSHORE SEA BASS, PORGIES, COD & POLLOCK

We ran our offshore trip today. There was constant action from the time we shut off the engine at 1:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon.

Almost the whole boat had their limits of SEA BASS weighing up to 7 lbs. We had a good bunch of PORGIES, several CODFISH to 20 lbs, a few POLLOCK and at night A LOT of BLUEFISH. It was not uncommon to see double header JUMBO SEA BASS or double header SEA BASS and a BLUEFISH. Later in the day we had double header PORGIES and SEA BASS.

Pete Meyers from Run Off Lures joined us and he had his limit of SEA BASS and PORGIES.

Ron Bara, Bill Dickson, Nicky Spero, Herb, Keith and others all had their limits.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous. We only needed a sweatshirt at night and a t-shirt during the day.

It was just a fantastic trip.

We will not be sailing tomorrow (Tuesday, Dec. 8) due to the weather. We will resume our normal schedule on Wednesday.
