Kelly trap
I am looking for a good bait to put in a Kelly trap for spearing does anybody have any ideas.

Broken up blue claw crab or crush some mussels from the sedges.

If you can see them I would just get a fine mesh-3/16" cast net to target them, or a seine net - depends on a friend to get wet as well... I prefer cast netting them...
