Hit a stretch that ordinarily produces. After an hour with nothing moved on. Someone had just been there as evident from the boot marks
Moved to a spot I know hadn't been fished in a while, 2 hours two fish both good first at32" second season PB at 37" and fat, heaviest pike I have caught in several years
