Default Eyes and Smallies after dark

Got out in The Mugger last night for some nocturnal muggery. Was on the water around 730 and started scanning a few different areas on the lake for good marks. Found deeper suspended bait and shortly after began hooking up. Between 8-10 was hot, with a handful of nice chunky Walleyes and some acrobat Smallies on various color swimshads. We made a move to anchor along a shallower weed line and with herring on egg sinkers. Scott managed 1 Smallie that wacked the herring on the drop. Tons of herring in the area and not much action, so back to the original deeper structure and a couple more fish in the boat. Wind picked up so we packed it in around 145am. After pulling out of the marina, I was promptly pulled over by a town officer backed in with the lights off. Just doing a late night DWI check and let me go on my way lol!
