![]() man we need some steady rainfall, spruce run is getting stupid low and now round valley is being lowered and the fisherman are all suffering.........sucks

I don't know anything about how they engineer our municipal water supply, but looking at Spruce Run it would seem to me that it would be a lot more efficient if they just had a pipe running from the reservoir to the weir. It looks like they just dump the reservoir to make the entire South Branch higher and they catch a percentage of that water at the weir. .

![]() Taking water from spruce first is more cost effective than rvr. Dale recently educated me on this. No turbines to fire up at spruce I think like they have to on the valley.
Regardless, we need rain badly. And not concentrated mass volumes over just Union county.
