TnT new personal best jumbo flattie.. 8-15-2015
Well always thought it was hard to imagine beating my personal best fluke of 14.1 and when i did it took forever as that fish i took when i was 15 yrs old and is what got me hooked on the flatfish.....
What a day...fished The PT Pleasant Fluke Frenzy and The Ozarks Sportsman Club Tourney's with my usual crew of C&B Joe and Dolla Bill Couch...morning was tuff with nothing in the box at 9am then it picked up a little...bounced around a little and it PAID OFF.....decked some OK keepers till this pig slammed my OMT BUCKTAIL ball TIPPED with a gulp grub....incredible fight and masterful net job by Dolla Bill....fish went 13.8 lbs on an old hand held and was bouncing over 14.... but was eventually weighed at 2 very reputable tackle shops on legit certified scales and was determined to be 14.3 lbs...... what a beautiful fish... took the VFW tourney for the 3rd year in a row and helped put us over the top in the 3 fish Ozarks tourney...... Thanx to my crew for sticking out the drifts and for an incredible day... AND to My Bow Monkey Mikey whos always watching over us....
