Default Atlantic City Fishing

Heading down to AC for my Bachelor Party tomorrow. We are fishing on the High Roller on Saturday.

I can't really find many reports from down there. Anyone know what's going on down that way?

They have a really awesome pool concept on that boat called the fantasy fluke jackpot! I believe they are still gettin a ton of shorts with the occasional keeper mixed in.

The normal fluke set ups should work well. I usually us a fluke rig with a bare hook, gulp and they usually supply killies for bait, two oz of weight should be more than enough. For bucktailing a 3/4 oz or less should be good for the bottom bucktail.

It's mostly just fluke, sometimes you'll run into a school of blues, but I would just expect fluke.

pretty laid back fishing, they do a much better job of finding fish and accommodating fishermen than some of the other boats in the area that do the same thing...mostly shorts, some keepers but you should be able to bend the rod at least. More importantly , make sure you hit the Back Bay Bar in Gardner's Basin. That spot is awesome !

can get a good feel of what's going on down there by looking at the website of the bait and tackle store that's on Brigantine Island. Don't believe they are a sponsor so I will not name them here. The name of the place starts with R and ends in E...
