headed out early Sat. morn for a few hrs chasing hybrids. Got in the water by 6:15 and found fish in the first spot stacked all over the place on the side imaging. Started setting lines and nailed a rly nice 8.3lb 25" right off the bat that fought like hell. Gopro had issues so I got a poor cell pic of it on the tattleboard. It was a slow pick all morning making loops thru a small area w several schools in it but not much bait around. They were just hanging out it seems and in a nuetral mood, had to put the bait on there noses for a nibble. Got a few more all nice fish 21-23" and fat, but worked hard for all of them, I must have dropped 10 fish that were skinning the herring in half w short strikes. A few other boats around that were jumping behind me as they saw me hooking up, but I didnt see anyone catch anything. Saw some fly jiggers in the area and guys casting, but they only wanted live herring slow and deep. Wrapped it up around 10:30, I got my fix by then and it got hot very early in the sun......
