Mixed bag puddle hopping with some 'ski

Currently enjoying a much needed week off from work, so the lady and I loaded the yaks up and headed out 80 to fish a couple of our favorite bodies of water. Got to her choice (White Lake) first and started sight casting the crystal blue waters. Landed about 40 total Panfish and small Bass, her on the fly rod and me casting a 1" Relax swimshad. Very fun on light tackle with some big Bluegills pushing 9" mixed in.

Packed it in and headed to my choice (a Muskie lake) and the bite continued. More pans on the fly for her while I managed 2 nice Largemouth and my first Muskie of the year. Lost another bigger Muskie about 10 minutes earlier at the yak, f*ck! First Bass and the muskies hit a monster spinner with a Relax swimshad trailer. Other Bass hit the new Rapala wake bait fresh out of the package.

Overall great day on the water back in Jersey after spending a few days sightseeing in Boston. Oh yeah, and going out in the salt with MikeyTopaz on the KathyK in the morning!
