Default OC Maryland surf fishing?

Heading down to OC next week for 3 nights with some friends. While the main idea is to party and relax...what's more relaxing than fishing. Was thinking I was gonna try for sharks off the beach but not sure if there's certain areas that are better/deeper than others. I believe we are staying on 69th st. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
