Default Lost pole

fished today by the candle stick. Fell on the cooler bruised a rib and me ego had to let my pole go or go face first into the gunwale. It's down there purple Garone custome with Shimano Torium if you catch I will certainly reward the person if it's returned. If have caught several PBs on it and it was my go to rod.

Sorry to hear that.
The rod is most likely half way to Europe by now... being towed by a Flukeasuarous.

If by some miracle I happened to snag it, I'll get it back to you and certainly no reward necessary

I was sea bass fishing on the Big J in January several years ago in a couple hundred feet of water. My buddy was fishing right next to me and he kept pulling up fishing line that was tangled on his rig. Figuring it was line that was broken off on the wreck below he would cut it off his rig and let the rest drop back down. Well after a bit I got tangled in this fishing line and I decided to pull it up. What a surprise we got when we saw a brand new rod and reel attached to it. I thought I hit the lottery and had the best catch of the day. Until the mate told me that another fisherman on the opposite side of the boat had accidentally dropped it in soon after we set anchor. The sad owner heard the news that his pole was recovered and made his way to me with a big smile on his face. He thanked me and offered me a $100.00 bill which I refused. He said it was a birthday present and it was the first time he ever got to fish with it.
The fish gods smiled upon me that day and for a long time afterwards. I wish you the same luck and your rod and reel returns to you soon.

I was fishing on the NK3 one night for ling. We were in about 140 ft of water when I see my buddy flailing his arms about. He turns and looks at me and says" I just dropped my pole in ". About 3 weeks later Capt. Matt is fishing the same spot and Lab catches my buddies pole with the initials JP written on the butt. Labby gave the pole back to my pal and from that day forward he named that pole "LUCKY". And thats a no-shitter!

You say it was a Garone?

Next time take the gunwale to the chin and hold that stick with both hands!!
