Looks like cold water for opening day fluke. Raritan bay water 59-61. Thoughts

If you waited as long as we have you fish!!!!!! Go find the best temp and structure and fish it hard!!!!

It's warmer than the ocean so the fluke should stay mostly inside the hook.

I think that the water temperature is actually above normal for this time of the year.

Really... Went out bottom fishing 2 weeks ago it was cold. I guess with weather we've been having it seems way colder.

Just an fyi. Early season fluke fisherman usually and I mean usually do better dragging bait than bucktailing due to the cold water temps in the Ocean. Did I mention that I am bucktail guy. lol
