Weekend Report 5/9-5/10

Got out this weekend on The Hornet with Capt. MikeyTopaz in continued search of night action. Abbreviated report: Saturday=Good....Sunday=not so Good. Saturday we finished up with 2 Hybrids and 7 Walleye, the highlights being a nice double header and Mikey's 25" and 26" Walleyes, setting his new PB. Upon finishing up near 2am, we had a very foggy trip back to the marina. Thank God for Navionics, as without it we would have been sleeping in the boat lol. Sunday was considerably slower, with only a Rockbass and 1 Walleye in the boat. The Walleye hit literally at the boat with no line out. Upon netting him, we saw a gnarly looking tumor on its head. The fish was healthy besides the tumor, so it was released, along with all other fish that were caught this weekend. The bite is getting later and later. The action didn't start until 11pm both nights, getting later and later, and waking up at 6am for work is getting harder and harder lol. Water temp in the coves in the high 60's now and weeds starting up. Some fish porn...
