Default Va beach tautogging with rowdyy crew!

myself, spotfishing usa, reelron, the most intersting togger in the world KB & Lietenant Pete headed to VA to fish with a nsb & do some togging. Capt said the bite was off in the ocean but was good action in bay so we opted to fish the chesapeake bridge-tunnel & it was lights out fishing with a boat limit in an hour & half then catch & release. We opted to head in early as soon as the tide changed bite died. Headed to a rad restaurant ate $400 worth of seafood & I think i have decided Va is my new mecca.

Capt Zach & deckhand John were both great guys 23 & 17 years old but with fire in there hearts & wanting to kill fish just up my alley! I am going back to fish this summer with redfish & cobia both on the menu! If anyone wants the info on the operation let me know.

The Bay & area are stunning its a different world down there my blood pressure was low & bac was up its heaven! Cannot thank reelron enough for booking the trip, Vinnie for buying me souvenirs, & KB for being a great roommate & big spoon. Also very nice to finally meet Pete & have to say he is a great dude & am looking forward to fishing with him again. follow link for pics cannot wait to go back here & finally kill a redfish

Hell, I was wit you & I laughed at your badge!

I have to say it was really a good trip. NIce to be limiting out on Tog while in shirt sleeves. I know only a 3 fish limit but 16" min. Boat limit in 2 hours, with a work out! "Push off that pileing, will ya Ron?" I still can't believe I slept thru that fire alarm?

I think it was named Harpoon Larry's, but by the time we got there it was renamed Hard Hat Harry's.
