Good couple hours blackfishing 12/14
Decided it was time to pull the boat today. After jockeying trailers at the marina and getting the truck loaded up.
Tracey and I headed out for a few hours of blackfishing. Got anchored up at 1130 and by 130 we had a limit in the box. The best of was Tracey's PB at 9 Pounds 4 OZ . Bite was steady but they def were not committing to tugging at the bait. Instead you would just feel them pick the bait up , and them feel them chewing the crab softly. a quick lift and it was game on Shorts outnumbered keepers by about 2-1. Nice to have some steady action before putting the boat away for its short winter nap. Had a surveyor from NMFS stop us at the dock, where he weighed and measured all of the fish.   .
