Last Day of Fluke

Very tough day of fluking today,,big ground swell did not help..Other than the swell,, the ocean was nice,,just not many fluke around...I don't want to see summer go but Im glad the fluke season is over with the lack of fish around...It was a fun season and I would like to thank you all who fished with us...Kenny the Fluke took home the pool fish today with his 18 inch fish,,,pool was big up around 650 bucks!!And congratulations go out to Ori who won the seasonal pool with his big fish that weighed in at 11lbs.12oz....Tomorrow we are gonna spend the day targeting Cod,,Ling,Blackfish,,and some big Winter Flounder are around,,as is triggerfish and some other exotics!!! I look forward to it!!!Gonna be beautiful tomorrow!! See ya for coffee!!!!!!!!!

Can't blame lack of effort for the empty coolers, Bobby moved us around all day long in search of fluke but they just weren't in the mood to eat. The bow of the boat was filled with seasoned veterans who regularly catch quality fish but even the short fish weren't biting today. Kenny caught the 18 incher early on and was sweating when the other guys hooked up, but all the fish were too small and he managed to get the pool. Thanks Captain and crew for a great season, see you guys soon for some sea bass and tog!
