Decided to fight the current and changed locations to start the morning.
Still had a couple hours of out-going with the drift making 1.9 knots! Got the lead out and picked away on some nice keepers and plenty of shorts the first couple of hours. Brett Leininger, PA, had the first limit fishing with Bucktails today. Most of the fish we have been catching the past couple of weeks have been on bait, so maybe things are going to change in that department. Brett also took today's pool with a very nice 7.3 pound Fluke, yesterdays pool fish made 7.1 pounds! June landed a 6.3 pound fish mid-day also......guess Mikey forgot to take the pic!! Didn't do much as the current eased off and the change only found a few fish here and there. Still a great day on the water with a good group of customers! |
