Big Bass & Blues - Big Jamaica Friday
Big bass and blues today. Blue fishing was not as good as it has been today. We read plenty of blues and caught them on Crocs and jigs, but just a pick today. Later in the trip we ran into schools of bunker being torn up by big striped bass. At times the bunker were charging the boat with the hungry bass on their tails. We caught the bass on Gold crocs, jigs and bunker. The pool winner was: Mike Lachman from Collegeville PA with a 32LB striped bass caught on a 5oz gold croc lure. There was quite a spread of bass and bunker close to Brielle. It looks good for the weekend. The big Jamaica is sailing everyday at 730am and Saturday and Sunday night at 730pm.
