Taking Stock...

Hit the lake early today, early for me at least, around six thirty. Worked my way along the southern shoreline with no swipes on any of my offerings, so I beat it over to the north side to see what was doin'. After trying some topwater, spinners, and plastics I decided to tie on one of my recent additions. A rapala ULC in chrome black lead to the first action of the morning, a decent sized bass that dropped off right at the dock. A few more casts with nothing and I switched over to my also new rat-l-trap, blue with chrome. This time I got the fish to the dock and found myself face to face with another great looking stockie, and since I actually remembered the camera I snapped a quick shot. Fished for another hour with nothin' doin' so I headed on home for breakfast. Have a great weekend everybody!!!
