Talking Opening day came early

Hit a river this morning for a couple hours to get my fix and see what was thrown in. What I found was great, all Browns hitting lures and everyone at the spot was catching and releasing. I could tell you how many we caught but I won't right now. It was shooting fish in a barrel, a fish a cast pretty much. Gotta love those feisty Browns. With the rain coming it will spread these fish out quite nicely. What a morning, biggest Brown was around 12.5 inches. Hopefully anglers don't take em out of the river to fast when the season opens next week. GOOD TIMEZ!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!

Leave a few for me there Eddie. I'm washing out my fishing vest. Had a bottle of bug spray explode in my pocket during the polar vortex winter this year.
3 years and this was the first wash.
It was still cleaner then a certain moderators NJFishing sweat shirt

Kamil, pick up the New Jersey Freshwater Digest at your local tackle store. This year is a little different than other years since some areas are getting trout that have never been stocked before. I do believe all trout are to be released until the actual opening day on April 5th.
