Is the KNC still stocking lk hopatcong this saturday?

Hey I am just curious if the knee deep club still plans to stock lake hopatcong this Saturday? The reason I ask is because most of the lake is still frozen up.

all the lakes are gonna be stocked by the state, theres enough shoreline open on lakes to get the fish in. I saw the state stocking muscanetcong tuesday morning (lake+river) and also up on 206 in andover, think its pequest or flatbrook there, whatever it is behind old A+P.

as for the KDC they will be stocking from Dows, there is alot of shoreline open in spots, and Laurie has the pumps for the bait running on the edge opening it up. As far as LH goes both bridges are locked up so they will prob overstock state park which is kinda open, by barnes, and anywhere they can get them in. Unfortunately I dont think I will be in the boat for LH next saturday, not gonna open up in time, was rly looking forward to trout and stripers next week

Any update on the open water situation?

The reason I asked was because I always thought knee deep took the trout out on pontoon boats, but I think I read that they had volunteers with trucks this year.

The trout contest seems to of been rescheduled to May 4th now (was Apr 6th)

As far as open water goes, the lake IMO is still pretty frozen up. There are bits of open water around the marina's and bridges, and most of the coves are open upto a few hundred feet.

Most water i've seen is by bradys bridge. I drove around the lake this morning, still pretty darn frozen.
