just read al ristori article in star-ledger. said the boats yesterday only had a few herring and no macks at all.

I had three macks, and another guy on a boat had a few. I also had about 5 herring. Its like a joke. I will never forget the mack run we had 10 years ago.

I went out Friday on Miss Belmar. Skunked. They worked hard but there are no fish around. Pretty much all anyone caught were dogfish.

Took a ride to Manasquan inlet on Friday. I've been asking around too . No herring that I've seen or heard about IN Manasquan. Rumors about Shark still having squid but they may be OLD ones.
