Gulp! Waxies, grubs, larvae, etc. -- Question

Anyone here ever tip their jigs w/ the Gulp! Waxies, grubs, trout worms, larvae, etc to sweeten the offering? I was watching trout hit my jigs this wknd and was thinking adding a lil' spice to the hook would increase the "hold time" and entice a few more strikes. Thoughts?
