Default FISHERMEN/Nasty...just the way I like!! Friday's Report.

Had a Charter today with Mark and Melissa from Interior Management. They knew the weather and conditions would be tough but decided to go anyway (My kind of Customers)!! The short window to catch fish we had before it got too nasty proved to be on the money for the morning.
Lot's of life, just tough getting everyone in the grove. We did manage 9 nice keepers on the first couple drifts before we had to search out calmer waters.
Had to wait it out till the end of the tide and the change but when we came back, we had the drift of the day! Several nice fish with action from hell putting these folks on the meat.
For most that were non-fishermen I tip my hat, especially the ladies who hung in there all day and didn't quit (you can fish with me any day). Everyone went home with fish for dinner.
This is why I do what I do, working with these folks brought me back 30 years. Tough conditions, but in the end, Smiling face's and a home run for myself and my crew......Great job all!!!!!

Tell those ladies to join us on Wednesday during the summer for some great fluke fishing.

I got invited on this trip and what a great time everyone had. Everyone caught at least one fish and for many it was there first ever fish or first Bass. We had Bass breaking right next to the boat in the afternoon and Capt Ron quickly got in on the action. Ron was like a little kid all fired up hooking fish and handing off his rod to the fares. The mates and myself did the same and at one point I think we had 5 fish on. I love watching beginners fight fish and sharing the sport of fishing with someone that's new to it. Fishing is not always about fighting fish or catching the most. Big thank you to the crew of the Fishermen and my buddy Mark for the invite, looking forward to next years company trip.
