Cool Big D, Small Fish 11/2

Got done with work at 2 today and rushed down to the big river. Got bait and headed over to another one of my spots. Slow moving water, deep cut banks. Fished shiners 15 ft down on slip bobbers. Fishing this method produced 5 Smallies, but none of them made the 10 inch mark. What's up with that? In between lines I had the Binsky out jigging away the night. Managed one Walleye at 12 inches. Another small fish, PINNER, man what's up with that? Where did all the big fish of the BIG D go??? Flatheads ate em all, DAMMMMMMIT!!!! I'll have to kill more of those invasive BASTARDS next year, LOL!!!! Finally hooked a good Walleye at 615 only for it to get caught up In Some kind of stupid under water tree. Felt the weight and the head shakes, it was a good fish. Guess I'll never know how big it was, OH WELL!!! Get his ass next time! All in all an ok evening on the river. But man oh man the fish are small!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!!!
