Yesterday morning, we jigged about a dozen stripers first thing and it didn’t last so we ran up to the rocks and had some good blue fishing with stripers mixed in. Our pool winner was Frank Pogue from Willingboro NJ with a 41 lb striper.

This morning, we had real good blue fishing at times on 14-18 lb blues with some drifts lasting for a mile or so, and some we picked away at. There were no lack of readings and there was plenty of fish stacked up off the bottom. We ended up with a couple handful of stripers up to 31 lbs and blues up to 18 lbs. Our pool winner was Frank Maftiore from Monroe Township, NJ with a 31 lb striper.
