Cape May Man slimed by Fall Fatty!
Gale Bower and his wife traveled from Cape May to catch a musky. His wife was never in a boat nor caught a fish. Started off slow so took them to a spot for a little action and they did great on some nice slabs. Then, returned his wife back to the dock/place they were staying over at on the lake and took Gale back out. First spot, second cast and he nails a 38 incher on a Squirrely Phantom. The fish was blind in its right eye but was in great shape and swam off fine. Next cast and an immediate Follow. Wow! talk about luck....it usually doesn't go this way when fishing for muskies. Congrats to both!

Re: Cape May Man slimed by Fall Fatty!
Nice one....Towards the end of the day, I turned to my partner and said it would be nice to catch a huge musky today after being skunkeroo'd all day.....2 casts later a GIANT(prob. was between 20-25 pounds) follows my lure right to the boat but didn't go for it.....Fig 8 couldn't happen, by the time I noticed it, the fish was off.......but a great fish indeed......Glad you nailed yours....Nice fish and great fight they are!!!
