Default Lower Raritan 9/11

Started out at SSB falls and walked the banks down to the 287 bridge.Picked away at dink smallies and gave up 4 swim shads to some rather large toothy critters. There are some really nice deep holes down river that were holding some gigantic carp. Also saw a crapload of pickerel hanging along the banks. If anybody ever walks the banks wear pants I got stung by those stinging nettles plants all day and my legs are still tingling.

Very interesting. Time to break out the heavier gear for Mr TOOTHY!!! Floated that stretch Saturday, deepest hole we went over was maybe 4 feet deep and that's pushing it! Very flat stretch but alot of blow downs on the banks for the fish to hide in. Saw those Carp Saturday along with a bunch of Quillbacks. There's fish in that stretch. Just not alot of deep holes.
