Montauk madness
Last minute trip to the promised land. Johnny got me out with his friend for a day of sick fishing. First drift three nice keepers, but the captain wanted bigger fish so we left them biting and went hunting. Glad we did! I ended the day with eight ny keepers and we were flipping five pounders in the boat. I had a nice nine pounder and an eight and a half pound bookend! Johnny had an eight as well. Big fish of the day went 9.5. Several fish between five and seven.
Heading home tomorrow early am to beat the traffic. Happy holiday to all!
