Monger Madness- not one but TWO doormats
Today was an absolute banner day- fishing with family at its best (njfisherman1975 and jigemup from the board). We had 36 keepers with an average of 4# and up.
I know how lucky I was today with landing TWO doormats- one at 10.4 and the other at 10.6  First one was on a butterfish that another keeper spit up when it hit the deck; the second on a pink bucktail with a strip. My brother has the pics on his phone and will hopefully post them tonight. Absolutely amazing day!Fish it up! Last edited by njfish4life; 08-25-2013 at 08:32 PM..

Here are some pictures of today's trip. My brother, njfish4life (Mike) ended up with a 10.4 and a 10.6 pound fluke in the same day. Talk about a trip to remember. We ended up with 36 keepers for the day. There were two over ten pounds as you can see by the pics, and a bunch of fours, fives, sixes and sevens as well. The average size of these fish were just sick. Captain Jerry and Danny kept us on the fish all day long. Danny was there whenever he was needed to bait us up, or pull a bucktail out of the snotty bottom, or net another slob. This was an epic day on the Fish Monger yet again. Sailing with them again on Wednesday, and can't wait to see what we do then. Thanks again Jerry and Danny, and Mike, you had an epic day.
