Stopped off for a bit after work yesterday knowing I wouldn't be out to long at 100*. Hit one of my usual spots and saw that the river is STILL high and muddy, uggghhh. After about 30/40 min of skunk I moved on. The AC in the car felt good so I decided to explore a little. Found a decent lookin spot where a feeder creek dumped into the main river. Thought the current seemed a bit strong in the river so I decided to fish the creek not expecting much. Sure enough, pulled out a decent pike. Stayed a little longer and called it a day.
Ps Sorry for the blurry pic, even my phone was SWEATING, lol.......... ![]()

Nice job dude. I was itching to hit the river yesterday, but the AC and my couch felt too good after a week of working in the heat lol. These jersey pike dont seem to mind it too much though!
